  • Are Marco Tozzi Shoes Comfortable? FEEL ME and Fit Explained

Marco Tozzi · Comfort & fit guide

A soft footbed can make a lovely first impression, but lasting comfort also depends on how a shoe fits. If you are considering Marco Tozzi, here is what FEEL ME means, which other details to look for, and how to choose your size with confidence.

    Are Marco Tozzi shoes comfortable?

Marco Tozzi shoes can be a comfortable choice, particularly when you choose a style with FEEL ME cushioning and a shape that suits your feet. The collection includes different toe shapes, heel heights and fittings, so comfort will vary from one pair to another. Start with the right fit, then look at the features that suit the way you will wear them.

    What does FEEL ME mean?

FEEL ME is Marco Tozzi’s soft, cushioned footbed. The brand describes it as adapting to the shape of your foot as you wear the shoe. It adds softness underfoot, but it does not change the length or width of a shoe that is too small.

When comparing styles, these are three useful features to recognise:

    FEEL ME

Cushioning beneath your foot. Look for it in the individual product details when a softer feel underfoot matters to you.

    SOFT LINING

A particularly soft feel inside the shoe. It describes the lining, rather than the width or the amount of room around your toes.

    Removable footbed

Sometimes listed as “MT Rem Sock”. On styles with this feature, the insole can be taken out. Check the available depth and fit if you plan to use your own insert.

Features vary by style. FEEL ME does not automatically mean the insole is removable. Marco Tozzi confirms both features on the 2-24780-45-098 trainer; check each product page for the details of your chosen pair.

Are Marco Tozzi shoes true to size or wide fitting?

Use your usual EU size as a starting point, then compare it with the size guide below. A rounded ankle boot and a pointed dress shoe can feel quite different in the same size, so we would not apply one “true to size” rule to the whole brand.

Do not assume every Marco Tozzi shoe is wide fitting. Some styles have a standard fit, including the black loafers and wedge trainers featured here. A soft footbed is a comfort feature, not a width fitting. If you need extra room, check the product’s width information or ask us about the particular style before ordering.

If a shoe feels right in length but tight across the forefoot, a different shape or fitting may suit you better than simply going up a size.

    Choose by EU size

Marco Tozzi women’s size guide: UK, EU, cm and mm

Use the EU size shown on the product page when choosing your pair. The UK equivalents below follow our Marco Tozzi size guide; the foot-length values match Marco Tozzi’s own sizing chart.

EU UK / Irish Foot length

    UK 6guide equivalent
    24.5 cm245 mm foot length

These are guide values for foot length, not measurements of the shoe or its insole. Width, instep height and toe shape also affect fit. Not every style is available in every size. If you fall between measurements, contact us with your foot length and the style you are considering.

    Measure in three simple steps

    Stand on paper

Place paper on a firm floor against a wall. Stand with your heel lightly against the wall.

    Mark and measure

Mark the end of your longest toe, then measure from the wall edge to the mark. Measure both feet.

    Use the longer foot

Compare that measurement with the chart. For millimetres, multiply centimetres by 10: 24.5 cm is 245 mm.

Check more than softness when trying shoes on

    • Room at the front: your toes should lie naturally, with space ahead of the longest toe and no squeezing at the sides.
    • A secure heel: the shoe should stay on comfortably without repeated slipping or your toes gripping to hold it in place.
    • Comfort across the instep: zips should close without forcing them, and the upper should not press tightly across the top of your foot.
    • The right socks or tights: try the pair with what you intend to wear. Thick socks can change the feel of an ankle boot considerably.
    • A heel height that suits you: choose the shape and height you feel comfortable in. A cushioned fashion heel will still feel different from a low shoe.

Chocolate-brown Marco Tozzi ankle boot with a curved side panel and chunky black sole

    Everyday ankle boots

    Chocolate-brown chunky ankle boots

The rounded toe, FEEL ME footbed and inside zip make this a useful starting point for an everyday boot. The chocolate-brown suede-effect textile upper works easily with denim and cream knitwear.

Fit check: Check the fit across your instep and around the top of the shaft with socks you plan to wear.

Black patent-effect Marco Tozzi loafer with metallic trim and chunky cleated sole

    A smart slip-on

    Black patent chunky loafers

A glossy patent-effect upper, metallic trim and 4 cm block heel give these loafers a polished look. FEEL ME cushioning adds softness underfoot; the standard-width fit is worth checking carefully if you need extra room.

Fit check: Your heel should feel secure without your toes having to grip to keep the loafer on.

Black Marco Tozzi wedge trainer with front zip, leopard-print heel panel and contrasting sole

    A removable footbed

    Black leopard-detail wedge trainers

These front-zip trainers combine FEEL ME cushioning with a removable insole. The black upper and subtle leopard detail are easy to pair with casual outfits. The 6 cm wedge and 2 cm platform create a raised profile.

Fit check: Choose them if you like a wedge; they are not a flat trainer. If using your own insert, check the fit again with it in place.

Mulberry Marco Tozzi suede-effect ankle boot with pointed toe and low kitten heel

    A dressier option

    Mulberry kitten-heel ankle boots

For a dressier shape, this mulberry boot pairs a pointed toe with a modest 4 cm kitten heel. FEEL ME cushioning and SOFT LINING add softness, while the suede-effect textile upper brings a rich autumn colour.

Fit check: Leave room for your toes in the tapered front. A pointed shape should never squeeze them together.

    Advice from Leavys Shoes

Wearing in new shoes: start by sitting at home

Once you are happy with the size and fit, give new shoes time to settle before a full day at work, a holiday or a special occasion.

    Sit for about an hour

Put them on while sitting at home, without walking around to begin with. The warmth of your feet can help the upper settle around them.

Take them off for the day

Repeat on another day and build up gradually, only while they feel comfortable. Different materials settle at different rates.

    Add gentle walking later

Once they feel comfortable while seated, introduce short periods of walking indoors and gradually work towards longer wear.

Stop if they pinch or hurt. Wearing in can help a well-fitting shoe settle; it cannot correct the wrong size. Read our full guide to wearing in new shoes.

Common questions about Marco Tozzi comfort

Are all Marco Tozzi insoles removable?

No. Look for “removable footbed” or “MT Rem Sock” in the product details. FEEL ME on its own does not confirm that an insole can be removed.

Are Marco Tozzi shoes suitable for a day at work?

That depends on your job, the style and your fit. Consider how much you stand or walk, the heel height you prefer and any footwear requirements at work. Build up wear before relying on a new pair for a full shift.

Does a chunky sole mean a shoe is non-slip?

A chunky or grooved sole alone does not establish slip-resistant performance. Check the individual specification if your workplace requires it; FEEL ME describes cushioning inside the shoe.

Are the brown and mulberry boots leather?

The two boots featured in this guide have suede-effect textile uppers. The appearance of suede does not necessarily mean a shoe is made from leather, so always check the material details before choosing care products.
