How Emis shoes fit
- Use the available half sizes: Selected Emis styles are offered in EU half sizes. These can help refine the fit between full sizes; use the product’s size selector to see which are offered.
- Pointed courts: Check space across the ball of the foot and that the heel stays secure. The pointed end is part of the design and should not be filled by squeezed toes.
- Slingbacks and style notes: An adjustable back strap helps set heel hold but does not make the front wider. Follow a product-specific fitting note where one is given.
Between sizes?
UK equivalents are approximate, with ranges where conversions differ. If you are choosing between two Emis sizes, send us the style code and your usual size; do not assume every Emis court fits the same.
Brand guidance is a starting point. Product-specific details and the way the shoe holds your foot also matter.
How to measure your feet →How to measure your feet
- Place a sheet of paper on a hard, level floor with one edge against a wall. Wear the socks you plan to wear with the shoes.
- Stand with your heel gently against the wall and your weight on the foot. Have someone mark the end of your longest toe, keeping the pencil upright.
- Measure from the wall edge to the mark in centimetres. Repeat for your other foot and use the longer measurement. Measuring towards the end of the day can be helpful.
Only compare this measurement with a chart labelled foot length. An insole or shoe measurement may include extra space and is not interchangeable. Do not add an allowance unless that brand’s instructions specifically say to.
