Lotus size & fit guide
Lotus describes its footwear as true to size, so start with your usual size. Then check the toe shape and fastening of your chosen style: an adjustable casual shoe, an ankle boot and a dressier heel can feel different.
Size chart
Lotus’s size ranges are shown below. Its published chart does not list EU 40; ask us to check your chosen pair if that is the size you need. A verified foot-length chart is not available.
| EU | UK |
|---|---|
| 36 | 3 |
| 37 | 4 |
| 38 | 5 |
| 39 | 6 |
| 41 | 7 |
| 42 | 8 |
Use the sizes offered on your chosen product. A brand chart may include sizes that are not available in every style.
There is no verified foot-length chart in this guide. Contact us with the style and your measurements for help.
How Lotus shoes fit
- Casual lace-ups: Use the laces to set the fit around the instep, then walk indoors to check that the heel stays secure and the toes have room.
- Adlee ankle boots: Our Adlee style lists a removable insole. If you use your own insole, try it in place and check the shoe’s depth as well as the length.
- Heeled boots: For styles such as Kirsty, check that your foot stays back securely without sliding towards the toes. Try with the hosiery or socks you plan to wear.
Between sizes?
Use the size labels on your chosen product. If you are switching between a Lotus casual shoe and a heeled boot, include the model name when asking us about fit.
Brand guidance is a starting point. Product-specific details and the way the shoe holds your foot also matter.
How to measure your feet →How to measure your feet
- Place a sheet of paper on a hard, level floor with one edge against a wall. Wear the socks you plan to wear with the shoes.
- Stand with your heel gently against the wall and your weight on the foot. Have someone mark the end of your longest toe, keeping the pencil upright.
- Measure from the wall edge to the mark in centimetres. Repeat for your other foot and use the longer measurement. Measuring towards the end of the day can be helpful.
Only compare this measurement with a chart labelled foot length. An insole or shoe measurement may include extra space and is not interchangeable. Do not add an allowance unless that brand’s instructions specifically say to.
