Miss Elastic size & fit guide

Miss Elastic uses stretch materials to adapt around the foot. The brand recommends your usual size as a starting point; the stretch is not a reason to choose a shorter shoe.

    Size chart

Miss Elastic’s size ranges and foot lengths are shown below. Use your longer foot measurement as a starting point. Half sizes and extended sizes in the chart may not be available in your chosen style; check the product’s size options.

Use the sizes offered on your chosen product. A brand chart may include sizes that are not available in every style.

A chart comparison is a starting point, not a guarantee of fit. Check the style’s width and the sizes available before ordering.

    How Miss Elastic shoes fit

    • Stretch uppers: Check the fit while standing. The material should sit smoothly and comfortably across the instep, with room for your toes to lie naturally.
    • Ankle and knee-high boots: Stretch around the leg does not establish the footbed width. For a knee-high style, check calf room and the height of the boot too.
    • Different toe shapes: Zeta and other styles have their own shapes and heel heights. Check the toe description and how securely your heel sits rather than assuming all stretch boots feel the same.

    Between sizes?

If you normally wear a half size, have a particularly broad foot or need extra calf room, send us the style and your measurements for advice on that pair.

Brand guidance is a starting point. Product-specific details and the way the shoe holds your foot also matter.

    How to measure your feet

    Foot lengthHeel against wall
    1. Place a sheet of paper on a hard, level floor with one edge against a wall. Wear the socks you plan to wear with the shoes.
    2. Stand with your heel gently against the wall and your weight on the foot. Have someone mark the end of your longest toe, keeping the pencil upright.
    3. Measure from the wall edge to the mark in centimetres. Repeat for your other foot and use the longer measurement. Measuring towards the end of the day can be helpful.

Only compare this measurement with a chart labelled foot length. An insole or shoe measurement may include extra space and is not interchangeable. Do not add an allowance unless that brand’s instructions specifically say to.
