Tamaris Comfort size & fit guide

Tamaris Comfort puts extra room at the centre of the fit. Check the width stated for your pair, especially when moving from the main Tamaris range.

    Size chart

Tamaris Comfort’s size ranges and foot lengths are shown below. The lengths use Tamaris’ general guidance. Check the width and fit of your chosen style. Order using the size labels on your chosen product.

A chart comparison is a starting point, not a guarantee of fit. Check the style’s width and the sizes available before ordering.

    How Tamaris Comfort shoes fit

    • Extra room where it matters: The Wide Fit designs provide more room around the toes, ball of the foot and instep. H describes the width; the size number still determines the length.
    • Fine-tune the fastening: For lace-and-zip trainers, loosen and adjust the laces before closing the zip. The zip helps with access; the laces set the fit across your foot.
    • Your own insoles: Look for a removable footbed in the product details. Try the shoe with your replacement insole and usual socks, checking that the heel still sits securely.

    Between sizes?

Extra width is not a reason to automatically choose a smaller size. If you have a narrow heel, high instep or use your own insoles, contact us with the style and your usual size.

Brand guidance is a starting point. Product-specific details and the way the shoe holds your foot also matter.

    How to measure your feet

    Foot lengthHeel against wall
    1. Place a sheet of paper on a hard, level floor with one edge against a wall. Wear the socks you plan to wear with the shoes.
    2. Stand with your heel gently against the wall and your weight on the foot. Have someone mark the end of your longest toe, keeping the pencil upright.
    3. Measure from the wall edge to the mark in centimetres. Repeat for your other foot and use the longer measurement. Measuring towards the end of the day can be helpful.

Only compare this measurement with a chart labelled foot length. An insole or shoe measurement may include extra space and is not interchangeable. Do not add an allowance unless that brand’s instructions specifically say to.
