Zanni & Co size & fit guide

Our Zanni & Co Laocai One is a slip-on loafer with a square toe and patent-effect upper. The instep and heel hold are particularly useful fit checks.

    Size chart

Zanni & Co’s size ranges are shown below. Order using the size labels on your chosen product. Foot-length measurements are not confirmed for this range, so centimetres are not shown.

How Zanni & Co shoes fit

    • No adjustable fastening: The upper needs to hold your foot comfortably on its own. Check for a secure heel without choosing a size that squeezes the toes.
    • Square toe: Check space across your toes while standing. A square outline does not establish a wide fitting, so check the actual fit across the ball of the foot.
    • Patent-effect upper: Choose a comfortable fit at the first try. Do not rely on the upper stretching to make a tight shoe suitable.

    Between sizes?

Tell us you are looking at Laocai One and include your usual loafer size. Mention a narrow heel or high instep, as these affect how a slip-on holds your foot.

Brand guidance is a starting point. Product-specific details and the way the shoe holds your foot also matter.

    How to measure your feet

    Foot lengthHeel against wall
    1. Place a sheet of paper on a hard, level floor with one edge against a wall. Wear the socks you plan to wear with the shoes.
    2. Stand with your heel gently against the wall and your weight on the foot. Have someone mark the end of your longest toe, keeping the pencil upright.
    3. Measure from the wall edge to the mark in centimetres. Repeat for your other foot and use the longer measurement. Measuring towards the end of the day can be helpful.

Only compare this measurement with a chart labelled foot length. An insole or shoe measurement may include extra space and is not interchangeable. Do not add an allowance unless that brand’s instructions specifically say to.
