Yes—Jana designs its footwear range with extra width in mind. Many of the Jana shoes we stock are labelled H fit, meaning a wide fitting. The key is to check the fit of the particular pair you choose.
There are differences within the range. Jana uses G, H and Relax Fit descriptions, so checking the fit information for the individual shoe is an important part of choosing your pair. You can read more in Jana’s official sizing guidance.
H fit describes the shoe’s width. The number—such as 38 or 39—describes its size. If you need more room across your foot, consider the width alongside the length.

Look for H fit in the product details.
A wider fitting does not make every shoe feel the same. The toe shape, upper material and fastening all contribute to how a style sits on your foot. A lace-up trainer, a zipped ankle boot and a Mary Jane can offer quite different fitting experiences, even when all three carry an H-fit label.
Look beyond the brand name or the word “Softline” and check the details of the actual pair you are considering.
Jana shoes at Leavys are mainly listed in EU sizes. Choose the EU size shown on the product page. If you normally shop in UK sizes, the table below will help you compare.
Use the EU size when ordering. UK equivalents and foot lengths below are approximate guides. The measurements refer to your foot from heel to longest toe.
1 cm = 10 mm. These are foot-length measurements, not shoe or insole lengths. H fit describes width separately.
Foot lengths follow Jana’s published size table; UK equivalents follow the Jana guide on our product pages. Use them as a starting point and check the guide for your chosen style. If you are between sizes or unsure, ask our team before ordering.
Being comfortable across the toes but loose at the heel is a different fitting question from finding a shoe too short. If you are unsure, contact our team about the style before ordering.
The fastening is a useful detail to compare. Laces let you adjust a trainer around your foot, an adjustable strap helps secure a dressier shoe, and an inside zip opens an ankle boot for easier changing.

Take time to check both shoes when your order arrives. Try them indoors on a clean, carpeted surface, wearing the socks or tights you intend to use with them. Stand and walk around gently so you can assess the fit in movement.
Jana’s fitting advice recommends trying both shoes while standing and walking, and keeping them in pristine condition during an indoor try-on if they may need to be returned.
